The Furious is an intense martial arts action thriller directed by acclaimed action choreographer Kenji Tanigaki (Blood of the Redeemed), produced by Bill Kong (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon). The film follows Wang Wei (Xie Miao), a father whose daughter is kidnapped by a ruthless criminal network. With no help from corrupt authorities, he takes justice into his own hands and teams up with Navin (Joe Taslim), a relentless journalist whose wife has also mysteriously disappeared. Fueled by furious vengeance, the unlikely duo ruthlessly fights against the kidnappers in this explosive martial arts showdown.

The film features special appearances by Yayan Ruhian and JeeJa Yanin, both known from The Raid series and martial arts cinema. Distributed by Lionsgate, it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2025.
The film was originally scheduled for May 29, 2026, but the release date was updated to June 19, 2026 for Indian theaters by PVR INOX Pictures.
