The End of Oak Street is an upcoming American science fiction survival film written, co-produced, and directed by David Robert Mitchell (It Follows). The story follows the Platt family whose suburban neighborhood is ripped from suburbia by a mysterious cosmic event and transported to someplace unknown. After their entire street moves, the family discovers their survival depends on sticking together as they navigate their now unrecognizable surroundings.

The film is produced by J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot along with Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, and others. It features cinematography by Michael Gioulakis, music by Michael Giacchino, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
The film is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters and IMAX on August 14, 2026, with international releases beginning August 12, 2026.
